Sumary of what has happened and rain days since our site start on Friday, Feb 17

Week 1 (Fri, Feb 17 ~ Thur, Feb 24)

Weather: all six days were good for construction
Action: site fence, small rock delivery, peg-out.
Plus: we were really happy with SS, he always responded to our request within hours.
Minus: a real action on the site was still away!

Week 2 (Fri, Feb 24 ~ Thur, Mar 1)

Weather: Feb 24, 25, 27 and 28 were good
Feb 29, Mar 1 were rain ==> plus 2 days on build duration
Action: excavation
Plus: we suffered a re-schedule on excavation, but it was still within planning
Minus: the weather (Feb 28) was just perfect but we couldn't do piers which was booked a week ago. What was a waste our 1 valuable dry day!

Week3( Fri, Mar 2 ~ Thur, Mar 8)

Weather: Mar 2, 3 and 8 were rain ==> adding so far 5 days on build duration
Mar 5, 6 and 7 were good
Action: nothing

Daily Building Dairy

Week 4 (Feb 13-18)
Day 13 C (Thurs, Feb 16)
- Sent email to confirm with Kitchen window variation and again requested to have site start because every thing including pre-commencement inspection, weather and our file status
- Called SS repeating the yesterday request.
- SS called back informing that peg-out will be on today or tomorrow, other preparation will be on next Mon and call engineer to arrange storm water, slap
- Felt a bit relax as SS has made me believed in what he is doing or probably, I just want to trust him because I don't want to have 8 building miserable months!
- Checked our site around 3pm but there was nothing there.
- Weather is perfect and our site has been vacant for 3.5w and we have rented an accommodation for 1 month already!!!
- Tree company said they will do cleaning for us tomorrow. The ground is finally dry!

Day 12 C (Wed, Feb 15)
- SS showed up at our site. Hum, he didn't want to meet me as I requested!!! He must be surprise that I was there moving water and dirt out of holes .
- SS's inspection was the first job on schedule over the past many months. I couldn't remember which job was the last time FO did for us on time as over many months everything was delay!
- What SS made very impressed for me was his saying that 200 building days is very long and he have ever built a for 200 building days.
- I also surprised as he said our site is perfect for site start. However, he won't do anything until he get our plan file and he was actually only booked to pre-commencement inspection.
- Called CSO but actually talked to OM with regards to remaining issues on our final
- Requested OM to confirm our plan file has forwarded for the construction stage as he said on last Friday, Feb 10.
- OM confirmed SS can access to our plan folder
- Sent a text message to SS requesting "action" on the site

Day 11 C (Tue, Feb 14)
- Was impressed that OM sent an email after 6pm mentioning about SS's pre-commencement inspection. I'm not sure it is a common practice.
- We were very unhappy as the site start promises has kept breaking and clearly our real site start is still very far away.

Day 10 C (Mon, Feb 13)
- Emailed and called CSO but she is not in
- Called SS and left a message but SS never return our call
- OM replied our email saying that we need to wait for tomorrow as CSO will return to work and give us an update.
- It sound everything is not ready for our site start.

Week 3 (Feb 6-11)
Day 9 C (Fri, Feb 10)
- Still uneasily deal with the tree company for clean up
- Called CSO requesting info for the site start date. She originally used weather as an excuse. But I responded that the weather here was very dry, then she said she would call Paul and get back me
- Waited for her call. Then, she sent email for variation and confirmation
- Sent back her with signature and question
-Called her but she didn't not take the call
-By 5pm, I was surprised by new OM call. There were some changes, confirmation, compulsory variation for the plan.
- OM tried to impress us by his late call and attention to details for our plan. It was actually very good with his suggestion for width of laundry and toilet....
- Again, nothing was about site start schedule on Sat morning and the next week. He said CSO and SS will give us update on the next Monday
- Weather perfect but nothing happen after 3 (in a row) site start promises so we are very much disappointing!

Day 8 C (Thurs, Feb 9)
- Called CSO, she was not in
- Tomorrow and Sat morning are last chance for site start

Day 7 C (Wed, Feb 8)
- We can still have a little dream for site start if rain is hold on
- request quote for water tap behind Fridge
- will get weekly update

Day 6 C (Tue, Feb 7)
- The CC is issued
- Date for site start and quote for air conditioning are still not obtained
- Not yet call the SS for more site start info

Day 5 S (Mon, Feb 6)
-Angry letter to T and A requesting clear date for the CC, site start and experienced Site Supervisor
- Called A: she said the CC would be ready on tomorrow (Tue, Feb7), site start would be by the end of the week and allocated P as our SS. We hope P was also Ab's SS and if so, we may be lucky!

Week 2 (Jan 6-Feb 11)
Day 4 S (Sat, Feb 4)
Day 5 R (Fri, Feb 3)
- A said : the amendment for the stormwater has done and now waiting for a private certifier coming back to get the CC
-The CC and site start will only known on next Mon, Feb 6
-Very angry because of Fo's 3 lies times over the past 2 months for very easy CC

Day 4 R(Thur, Feb 2)

Day 3 Sc (Wed, Feb 1)
Nothing happened

Day 2 S(Mon, Jan 31)
-Finally, A took my call.
-A said: the CC will be by the end of the week and site start will be in the early next week because Fo can't start without the CC
-We argued: the site start will be by the end of the week as it were originally booked on Jan 25 and we just needed site preparation including fencing....
-Did text to T for making sure that Fo should keep their words

Day 1 S (Mon, Jan 30)
Angry text message to T complaining lost communication with A

Day 3 R (Sat, Jan 28)

Day 2 R (Fri, Jan 27)
- Wrote an email to A requesting info for the CC and site start re-scheduled date
-Called in but A was off work (holiday leave again after 4 holiday weeks and Australia Day)

Day 1 R(Wed, Jan 25)
Called A and was told that the CC and site start will be by the end of the week
